Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has announced the availability of Sani-Lock, a patented sanitary fitting that is both reusable and that enables the end-user to create, modify and size on-site hose assemblies. Sani-Lock fittings are the only reusable sanitary fittings engineered to provide a seal at all internal and external points. This technology is patented by Saint-Gobain.
Sani-Lock provides full-flow, smooth-bore design; it features a standard 15Ra internal surface finish with no obstructions that could harbor bacteria. Constructed of completely traceable materials, the fitting provides ease of validation/inventory control and ease of process identification/dedication. Additionally, Sani-Lock has a high-temperature and impact-resistant ferrule. It is fully autoclavable and provides superior handling qualities. Gas Fitting
Sani-Lock fittings are available in sizes ranging from 1/4" – 1", with a wide choice of end connections, including tri-clamp, male pipe thread, tube ends, tri-clamp step-ups, male/female I-line, bevel seat with nut, flange, and male/female cam-lock. Fittings are manufactured of 316L SS with standard electro-polished 15Ra internal surface finish, and meet all US Class VI and FDA CFR 177.2600 specifications. Product offering includes polymer inserts; blue, red, violet, green or optional stainless steel hose ferrules.
