In Memoriam: Wayne D. James, 40-year collision industry veteran, has died - Collision Repair Magazine

Fergus, Ontario — Collision Repair magazine is saddened to hear that a longtime friend of the industry, Wayne D. James, has died.

James spent 40 years in the automotive aftermarket, starting as a painter and technician at Maaco facility in Waterloo, and moving up to become a production manager thereafter. Drop Cable price

From 1998 to 2015, James served as director of operations for Maaco Canada, and he rounded out his career as AutoQuip Canada’s director of operations. He retired in 2020.

James died on Sunday, April 16 at the age of 60. According to an obituary posted by the James family, memorial contributions to the Groves Memorial Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Friends and family are welcome to gather in celebration of Wayne’s life on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., graveside at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Breslau, Ontario.
