Penn Elcom, a UK 19in racking manufacturer, has been showing off its new R6400-RHF hinged wall bracket; this bracket can turn any R6400 or R6600 wall mount cabinet into a hinged double section swing out cabinet.
The R6400-RHF has been designed for installations where space is at a premium or accessibility is crucial, as well as home systems. To make installations easier, the rack is delivered pre-assembled and includes a variety of features such as pre-welded threaded rack rails, removeable side panels, three fan knockouts, and 19in cable knockouts on the rear and top of the rack. 12u Wall Mount Rack
With a width of only 152mm/5.98in, the RHF is a slimline fixture that can support the weight of a fully-loaded rack, while enabling it to securely swing away from the wall. This gives installation professionals unrivalled accessibility to the rear of the rack, making it a simple job to run cables, replace equipment parts, or perform regular maintenance of the rack’s devices.
Penn Elcom has designed the bracket so that it’s easily reversible as standard to open on either the left or righthand side according to requirement. Heavy duty hinges allow for the rack to be loaded up to 50kg/110lb, and the slam lock system creates an easy open and close function.
Access to the rear of the rack can also be secured with an inbuilt key lock (a spare key is also provided). As with all Penn Elcom racking, it’s created with easy and efficient cable management in mind, providing top and bottom 1U cable knockouts as well as full length internal square hole rack rails.
