The Boston Police Department on Sunday asked for help locating a dump truck and excavator that were reported stolen from an Allston construction business.
Later that afternoon, police announced the vehicles were found just prior to 2 p.m.
Both of the stolen vehicles belong to Cicconi & Sons Construction, police said.
The red and grey dump truck, with Massachusetts license plate V27129, was towing the yellow excavator on a large trailer.
"The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents," police wrote.
