The company delivered one Kalmar Gloria Reachstacker and three empty container handlers to Ter Haak’s Container Stevedoring IJmuiden (CSY) and Container Service Amsterdam (CSA) terminals.

Established more than 24 years ago, Ter Haak’s CSA deep-sea terminal handles a range of cargo, including containers, ConRo and RoRo vessels, as well as breakbulk.
Kalmar has delivered three empty container handlers and three eco reachstackers, including a full-service contract to increase its capacity and eco-efficiency.
For CSY, Kalmar delivered a specially adapted Kalmar Gloria reachstacker for loading and unloading cargo from barges.
A four-deep reach of the machine eliminates the need to turn the vessel when unloading the last row of cargo.
Kalmar eco reachstacker is guaranteed to use significantly less fuel compared to others and is capable of reducing fuel consumption by up to 40%.
It also reduces fuel costs and emissions, while matching the productivity levels of machines with larger engines.
Kalmar secured a contract last month to supply six zero-emission rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTGs) to South Florida Container Terminal (SFCT) in the US.
