Jaguar Land Rover recently announced ambitious plans for the future, and one of the first changes to take hold was the restructuring of its brands. The result saw the overarching Land Rover brand split into three brands: Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery. The new Discovery Sport is refreshed for this new era, with a redesigned interior, advanced technology, and enhancements to the versatility and drivability that Land Rover is celebrated for.
The celebrated Pivi Pro entertainment system is available to use through a new 11.4-inch floating, curved touchscreen, which allows users to access 90% of the system’s functions with only two taps starting from the Home screen. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Wireless Apple CarPlay comes as standard, as well as Android Auto, with wireless device charging, and USB-C charging in the rear seats. Wellness is a major focus for the new Discovery Sport, as Cabin Air Purification Plus ensures clean air inside the car. In addition, drivability is enhanced with 3D surround cameras, and ClearSight Ground View which helps drivers see what is under the vehicle. Starting at $48,900 in the United States, the new Discovery Sport SUV is available now to configure and order, and it’s one of the first hallmarks of a new era for all of Land Rover’s new brands.
