80% plastic reduction through packaging in a cardboard tray

"Plastic reduction and more sustainable packaging with Paperseal. The solution to save up to 80% plastic with packaging in a cardboard tray on a Traysealer from G. Mondini," says Zwager Techniek.

Paperseal is made from a cardboard blank, which is formed into a MAP tray and is provided with a foil (liner) with barrier. This process to make the trays in-line happens ,just like with a thermoformer, just before the trays are filled with product and closed with the Traysealer. Noodle paper box

It is also possible to purchase the trays pre-made from multiple suppliers on the market and to close them at a Traysealer.

The benefits of Paperseal at a glance:

100% sealed packaging due to the design of a perfect sealing surface without breaks in the edge. Flexible packaging for Topseal, MAP and SKIN. 360 degree presentation due to printing options. Reduction of plastic use to 80%. Liner and Paper can be separated from each other, so that the packaging can be completely recycled. Very reasonably priced compared to alternative paper trays.

Zwager Techniek will be at the Mondini Hall 7.1b Stand A-08 during Fruit Logistica.
