This commitment, which will come into effect on 30 April, makes Plenoil the first company in the sector to supply 100% of its service stations with renewable energy.

With these panels Plenoil will produce 2,400 MWh per year, covering 36% of its consumption and avoiding the emission of more than 900 tonnes of CO2. The installation of panels will take place at existing petrol stations as well as new openings.

The company, which has experienced significant growth recently, has reached an agreement to get the remaining energy supplied from renewable sources.

Plenoil will also invest more than €6 million over the next two years in the installation of EV chargers across its network of 120 sites.
